Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accountant – Hospitality Finance, Dubai

Landmark Group is looking for an experienced Accountant_Finance and Accounts_Corporate Hospitality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

 

This corporate finance role sits in the Hospitality Centre of Excellence at Landmark Group Tower, Dubai. The accountant owns end-to-end revenue accounting, customer billing, collections, cash application, intercompany accounting, VAT reconciliations and month-end close support.

 

About the role

 

The work is detailed and control-focused. The accountant matches daily sales across POS, operational systems and ERP, keeps receivables moving and supports audits and finance-transformation projects. Hospitality accounting experience and ERP exposure are important.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Complete daily sales and revenue reconciliations across POS, operational systems and ERP so revenue is recognised correctly.

 

Generate, check and issue customer invoices, debit notes and credit notes on time.

 

Apply customer receipts, reconcile outstanding receivables, monitor credit limits and chase overdue balances.

 

Check incentive, rebate and commission calculations and support timely disbursement.

 

Record, reconcile and settle intercompany transactions and keep supporting agreements on file.

 

Prepare and review journal entries with proper backup.

 

Support month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations and reporting.

 

Provide schedules and documents for internal and external audits.

 

Complete input and output VAT reconciliations and support indirect-tax compliance.

 

Take part in ERP implementations, system integrations, automation and process-improvement work.

 

Who this role is suitable for

 

This role suits an accountant who is comfortable with hospitality revenue, collections and ERP close work, and who can keep controls tight during busy period-end cycles.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

 

Graduate in Commerce.

 

4–7 years of relevant experience.

 

Similar experience in hospitality businesses is preferred.

 

ERP exposure is required, such as Oracle or SAP.

 

MS Office skills, with intermediate Excel.
