Talabat is looking for an experienced Specialist Category Management – Private Label in Maadi, Egypt.
This role manages private-label categories for Talabat Mart. The specialist selects products, supports promotions, checks quality in stores and works with demand planners and suppliers so items stay available, priced correctly and commercially healthy.
About the role
The work sits between commercial category management and day-to-day product operations. It includes market visits, store checks, supplier follow-up and app-content updates. It is a good fit for category professionals who have already handled private-label ranges in large retail or FMCG businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Build category insights that guide private-label assortment and commercial decisions.
Set up, launch and activate promotional campaigns in the internal promo tool.
Visit the central market to review seasonal items and decide what to list.
Visit tMart stores to check freshness and product quality.
Work with demand planners and suppliers so fresh-food products arrive on time.
Update prices, ranking and content on the app when needed.
Follow up with suppliers on listings, pricing and product availability.
Handle other category requests from the manager as they arise.

Qualifications & Requirements
At least 3 years of progressive private-label category experience with large retailers or FMCG businesses, preferably in an international setting.
Technical knowledge to brief managers with accurate product and commercial information.
Commercial knowledge of profitability, margin, feasibility and benchmarking.
Detail-oriented, structured and able to prioritise.
