The Senior Manager Pricing Promotion is responsible for developing and leading pricing strategy and processes for all MAFR operating countries. The role holder manages the pricing team and develops processes and procedures for the function.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Determine feasibility and optimal pricing for new products in close collaboration with the sourcing team.
​Monitor and analyze department/section profitability for each pricing strategy across different zones or clusters.
​Monitor pricing to ensure objectives are met, analyze financial impact, and take corrective measures.
​Guide MAF Retail UAE management with new pricing strategies and tactics to maintain market leadership.
​Support and guide other MAFR countries on pricing processes and strategies.
​Act as a mediator between consultancy firm (McKinsey), MAF Holding, and Carrefour UAE Head Office on pricing topics.
​Manage promotional pricing, recommend final leaflet prices, and guide promo tactics for merchandise teams.
​Define direct store competitors and establish a clear pricing survey schedule.
​Qualifications & Requirements:
​Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Marketing.
​Experience: 10+ years of experience in Retail and Pricing.
​Languages: Full professional proficiency in English required; limited working proficiency in Arabic preferred.
​Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in MS Office.
