Staff Nurse I

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC)

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre is seeking a Staff Nurse I to join its team in Jeddah. The role is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and meeting established standards of nursing practice and performance, while demonstrating leadership competencies when in charge or acting as shift resource/team leader.

​Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver total patient care in accordance with core standards, policies, and evidence-based practices.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including discharge planning.

• Collaborate with Case Management to reduce length of stay and waiting times.

• Maintain accurate documentation and report equipment failures, safety issues, or supply shortages.

• Advocate for patients and families while engaging in multidisciplinary quality improvement initiatives.

• Promote patient safety, infection control, cost efficiency, and resource management on the unit.

• Mentor, teach, and supervise new staff and nursing students.

• Follow all hospital policies and participate in professional development, strategic projects, and evidence-based practice.

​Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Licensure.

• Two (2) years of nursing experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR four (4) years with an Associate Degree/Diploma.
