Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed. Work with fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons. Support student progress and pastoral needs. Organise classroom provision and create a positive learning environment. Plan, prepare and present sessions for the full ability range. Motivate pupils and assess progress using Target Tracker. Use assessment data to inform planning. Manage behaviour in line with school policy. Support school events and run a weekly extracurricular activity. Contribute to the wider life of the school. Ensure Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are embedded.

𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬

Clear understanding of the curriculum. Classroom management and positive relationships. Ability to motivate and assess students. Reflective practice. Communication with parents and professionals.

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞

Bachelor’s Degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification. Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience. Previous experience working with students for whom English is not the first language preferred. Clean enhanced DBS or police check required.
