Qatar Duty Free is looking for an experienced Till Assistant in Doha, Qatar.
This retail cashier role (Ref. 2600005S) runs cash-desk sales in Qatar Duty Free shops at Hamad International Airport. Closes 30 September 2026.
About the role
The assistant processes sales on POS, handles cash, cards and traveller’s cheques, and gives receipts. The aim is fast, accurate checkout and extra sales in one of the world’s largest duty-free areas.
Key Responsibilities
Keep the till float correct and key POS data accurately.
Process customer transactions and always give a receipt.
Handle cash, traveller’s cheques, cards and other payments securely.
Give good customer service to lift sales.
Follow Qatar Duty Free shop procedures.
Who this role is suitable for
This role suits an entry-level retail cashier. Prior shop or customer-service work helps but is not required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic literacy and numeracy.
English communication.
Entry-level: no prior experience required.
Preferred: previous retail or customer-service work.
Basic PC skill, interpersonal skill and product knowledge.
Pleasant and approachable.
